UGA Koi Class 2010 - Intentions

Our mission is to provide seminars where attendees can learn more about caring for the nishikigoi (brocaded carp) that are commonly called koi. These annual seminars are held in Athens Georgia. Additional seminars can be arranged at other locations throughout the year upon request.

In March 2010 we will conduct the 9th Annual Koi Health Seminar. For more information and a registration form please select the 2010 button at the left. A seat at the seminar would make a great gift for your favorite "koi kichi".

It is the dream of most if not all of the instructors we have had and will have, to create a culture of Koi hobbyists who is knowledgeable and is able to identify and provide the health and husbandry wisdom to ensure Koi and pond fish the same quality of life as a dog or a cat.

Teaching here in Athens and all over the country provides reach, to train interested people how to recognize and diagnose water quality problems, parasite and bacterial problems, virus problems and of course, learn to use various diagnostic implements for sample collection and examination. None of these issues is left out of ANY of the course material in the seminar(s) referenced here.

We look forward to seeing you at the seminar in March 2010!
